Probably the only hug between Hank and his dad, possibly ever. I wish they had given that an extra second of screen time. Instead of the zoomed out nothing. Based on the relationship they had, that’s actually kind of a big deal.
“Just not in my face, that’s how I makes my livings”
“And there are other names too!… So many names”
Just jam packed with gems, King of the Hill was absolutely one of the best shows of it’s time, if not all time. Mike Judge helped develop my young sense of humor so much
IIRC the creators of the show initially wanted Cotton to undergo some positive character development but the producers resisted for the sake of serialization.

you can call peggy “hank’s wife” as much as you want but don’t call hank’s kid “stinky”

Say what you want about Cotton, but the dude’s a solid grandpa
They had lightning in a bottle when they made King of the Hill.
“Hank’s wife” never fails to make me laugh

It was a accident Bobby Jesus has forgive you. He nows you didn’t mean it.
I like how Cotton was prepared to go to prison and be abused, but wasn’t prepared to be hugged by the congregation.
The absolute pure love Cotton has for Bobby is matched only by the hate he has for literally everyone else.
