Aite who got the joint with silent lucidity on it tho
Number doesn’t work.
I remember this well!
I bought it. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sunglasses)
I feel this was playing on USA Network between Duckman episodes…2am.
Wingerrrr
Damn, this takes me back
$26.99 in the 90s – I forgot how expensive music used to be. That’s about $55 dollars today.
This was a little before my time as I was born in the early 80’s. However, this commercial played non stop in my late teenage years. I remember the kid I drove to high school constantly singing the chorus to “is this love” by white snake because he heard it on this commercial!
This is a great album! Also, fuck Ted Nugent.
Oh my god, these commercials… what a time to be alive!
Is there a spotify play list for this? That compilation is epic
“Every bad boy has a soft side”
Billy Hargrove’s favorite CD <3
As a kid, I had always wondered how much it would cost to have Rush deliver my Monster Ballads.
Damn, this brought me back. I remember seeing this as a kid.
Damn where is my lighter now…lit phone screens are lame 😒
Dude I remember this commercial! Wth me and my sister used to mimic all their facial expressions lol
So much hair.
Gonna have to make my own Playlist with these now! Thanks for the reminder of some good songs.
Don’t forget “freedom rock”
Even the font reeks of the 90’s, in a good way
They taught us how to love…they taught us how to live…and now they’re geriatric!
The Bangles and INXS?
Need Goin’ South now
Ha ha ha! (Immediately opens Spotify)
These commercials are the only reason I’m good at music trivia now

I was a big fan of heavy metal growing up in the 80s and most of the bands in this compilation signaled the decline of metal. They were the K-Pop of the heavy metal genre. RIP heavy metal.
Edit/Update: In my teen years, I was so serious about my music. Now I can tolerate and even hum along to many of these cheesy songs. I do so in an ironic way, of course.
To paraphrase the great rocker Dave Grohl: fuck guilty pleasures! If something gives you pleasure, stop feeling guilty about it and own it. Crank that shit!
Dave’s band put the nail in the coffin of glam metal, so if he’s cool with it, there you go. his blessing is all you should need to let your hair down and put your lighters up for some monster ballads!
