Any game can be made to look like a GOTY contender. Then it comes out 🤣 Hope I’m wrong
You haven’t even played it yet.
Literally most of the games showed had 0 gameplay. Nintendo is the only company that actually shows gameplay during these events.

Definetely not a 10/10, it was a very average showcase at best with the big hitter IMO being starfield which is pretty evident was the focus. I was expecting way more considering how much Xbox has been idling in the past years, but I’m glad we at least got something.
Ngl Starfield looked pretty lifeless and un-interesting
They barely showed any gameplay of the other games. It was 90% cinematic trailers
I say 7 outta 10, but it’s definitely better than i thought it would be and im looking forward to

I’m extremely skeptical how good starfield would be. It’s just a lot of hype and marketing. A few features really do stand out to me such as the ship customisation and ship looting. But other than that, it was quite mid.
The execution would have to be unbelievably good for it to be successful at all. Cuz concept wise it’s nothing new. Hardly GoTY judging from the presentation.
Having said all that, i sincerely hope you’re right and hope it does launch as a game worthy of a GoTY nomination. It releases in a few months. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.

GOTY?! Looked like the usual Bethesda game, graphics and animations, especially the faces, already look dated.
Most dissapointing thing shown was avowed bcuz it was nothing like i thought it would be and it looks terrible to me idk why i cant put my finger on it. Best was prob payday 3(although the mtx store might ruin the game depending if its bad) or 33 immortals bcuz i like rogue likes and it looks like one.
I didn’t watch, is Fable a new addition? Or a remake of the first?
Avowed looks most interesting to me. A more focused TES like game by a developer known for making RPG’s with actual choices, sign me up.
7/10 …. I just can’t get hyped anymore only to be disappointed.
You know what else looked like a 10/10 from the trailers? Cyberpunk.

Was a pretty “meh” showcase. I was hoping we’d see more of fable and maybe something on ES6 or GTA6.

You must be easily pleased. I had high expectations which was my own fault and came away rather disappointed and apathetic.
Fable looks gross. I did not like the art direction i saw. It’s far too photo-realistic for fable.
Avowed, ironically, looks too cartoony and whimsical. The saturation looks really cranked and it seems like some magic powers playbox rather than a long, enthralling story with a big world, which is what i wanted after the lackluster reception of outer worlds.
Clockwork Rebellion looks the most interesting to me, but it’s far out from release. Not even a year was given.
Forza isn’t a horizon iteration so i don’t care, but more power to the motorsport fans.
Starfield has good and bad to me. The cities look great, the ship creator looks neat, the whole collecting crew like pokemon is always a laugh. But the planets themselves look… boring. Like i don’t see myself having fun on a planet for more than a couple minutes before i get bored and start looking for a quest to do. And just seeing a barren planetscape is not exactly entertaining.
The rest was just forgettable for me, sadly. I’ll give it a 6/10 because i watched the whole thing and the starfield showcase afterwards, so it was interesting enough to keep me watching…

It was like walking into Dollar General and seeing off brand items of your favorite snacks.
Coming from a Sony guy, this was easily better than PS showcase
