man the pilot in the picture doesn’t look a day past 45
Gravitational effects still apply to free falling objects. Astronauts talk about how being on the ISS feels like a constant state of falling not floating.
Because you like to have your idiology challenged.
Hawker Tempest sounds like a Pacific Rim Jaeger name.
Would have been 1944 at the earliest.
My dad said the first Vapor trail he saw in the sky was a V1.
Found out quite recently that my great grandad was killed by a v2 in south London. Poor bloke made it through ww1 and right to the end of ww2.
What a bad ass.
Why does it look fake lol
What caused the huge explosion?
Its fake and the explosion looks like from Cartoon
Surely the audio has been dubbed?
That is not a V2.
The flying object has wings. V2 looks rather than a rocket.
The velocity of the V2 would be much to high for a plane to follow and shoot it down.
VMax is at 5500 km/h

I read a really good description from a New Zealand pilot in the RAF, who was one of the leading V1 aces in the war, about shooting down V1s. The problem was that they were so small that in order to stand a chance of hitting them, the pilot had to get closer than was safe due to the size of the explosion. Because of the tremendous speeds that the aircraft were traveling at, there was no way to avoid the explosion. This made every shoot down a possible death sentence. That some of them went up and shot down dozens of these over their careers, is a testament to these pilots skill and bravery.
So the guy getting shot at thought it an ok idea to try zero maneuvers???
First v1 launched at Britain was 13 June 1944. Still a cool video!
Does anybody else think this looks comically fake, or is it just me?
Didn’t know they launched these in the daytime. Must have felt quite confident to do that.
Man the pilot in the picture doesn’t look a day past-45.
this is VERY hard to do, your best hope was to get close and tip it with your wing so it spins out of control and crashes
