The two things I always think about for this sketch (beyond how well-done it is) are how perplexing and left-field the White Castle segue is, and how when that Pizzagate crap was revving up as a political strategy, but before your average Bubba and Noreen was aware of it, all of the comments on the video were convinced this sketch was the entertainment industry expressing its actual values of baby sacrificing and whatnot.
So I’ve read somewhere that the White Castle bit at the end was written as kind of an F U to some mandate at the time that certain sponsors be written into sketches on the show.
The Rock always comes in last in those “best wrestler turned actor” polls people conduct on weekly a weekly basis, but I feel like this SNL work earns him a lot of points
Additionally, it could theoretically abuse twice as many children in half the time as a human abuser.
Although the entire sketch is excellent, that line always cracks me up!
Why does Obama sound like a mad scientist in The Rock’s voice?
Is the entire skit just a sandwich advertisement, then?
You forget The Rock can be actually charming and funny when he doesn’t take himself so seriously and let’s loose.
Dwayne is too good. What a great sketch.
I’ve been to a few of the White Castles in NJ and yeah, they indeed will serve anybody.
This comedy is so awesome.
“You, build a typical robot,” You abuse it. And let’s hope the cycle continues.
Let’s see more evil scientist Rock and less Black Adam, come on Dwayne, these kids won’t abuse themselves!
This is a good sketch but what the hell is going on with everyone’s sight-lines?! Everyone’s just kinda staring off at a random spot on the wall

One of the best SNL skits ever made in my opinion.
I got downvoted to hell last time I pointed this out but The Rock is clearly doing an Obama impression.
When he is speaking, he does that thing where he frowns for one second and then does a surprised face for one second and back and forth.
This makes me miss snl
Man, I wish there was a White Castle across the street from Jongno Tower.
This is easily one of my top 10 SNL skits.. it pushes the envelope without being political. Wish they did much more dark and edgy stuff
That hit Rock bottom.
One of my favorite modern SNL sketches
“See? The freeze ray guy gets it!”
“No! I don’t!!! Stop saying I get it!!”
I can’t believe The Rocks’ agent let him do this. By far the “edgiest” thing Dwayne has ever taken part in since he decided to go into movies
Top 5 sketch

I mean that’s gotta be where the goalposts are right?
I always laugh when he first says Robo-chomo 🤖 🤣
I hate this. It’s weird.

Commenting on World’s Most Evil Invention – SNL…
The rock is pure evil and his steroid fueled ego needs to be stopped
Just as funny as [Louis CK opening monologue](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzh7RtIJKZk).
The Rock always comes in last in those “best wrestler turned actor” polls people conduct on weekly a weekly basis, but I feel like this SNL work earns him a lot of points
THAT’S the punchline??? How is SNL still going???
WOW, I was thinking FOX NEWS!
This one is an all time classic.
It’s even better when you get that the Rock is basically doing a Barack Obama impersonation, same voice and cadence
Man invented a politician
One of the funniest sketches I’ve ever seen that whole episode was incredible
