LukeYui is doing the incredible job of implementing a full COOP mod that doesn’t rely on connecting to FromSoft’s servers! Once the mod is released players will finally be able to play the entire game with other players while each individual players world progresses!!!

” If you die while fighting a boss, you will enter a spectator mode observing other players until either everyone dies, or someone sits at a site of Grace to reset the boss (in the case of field bosses). Cutscene should work as they normally do in the base game. Only the true host player can skip them, but they’ll be played to every player. There is also a stackable debuff you receive on death. It can be removed by sitting at a site of Grace, and is designed to discourage dying over and over without fear of losing progress. I’ll explain it in more details when I make another video ”

” – Enemy scaling is fixed (it didn’t work at all previously). It now mimics Elden Ring’s (25%/50%/75%) buff on enemies for 1, 2, and 3 co-operators respectively.
– Voting enables synchronised fast travelling in the game. All players in the session must agree to warp to a specific destinations. Once the vote passes, all players are warped at the same time.
– Map waypoints are now synced with other players in the session, making it easier to communicate where you’d like to explore or areas of interest.
– Evergaols, portals, etc. now all work correctly and affect other players in the session allowing you to tackle usually restricted areas in mutiplayer.
– When dying in a boss fight, you will be unable to respawn and enter a spectator mode until either the boss is dead or every other player dies. This lets bosses keep their challenge while allowing you to stay together in a multiplayer session.
– A stackable debuff mechanic called Rot Essence has been added. It is acquired on death and can be removed when resting at a bonfire. There are currently 3 varied effects that can stack both with others and themselves. “
