I felt more of a release after beating Dark Souls 2.

Idk why but all the game I love I can’t finish them, basically I stop at 90% all the time 🙁 I don’t wanna have this emptiness after finishing them!

Outer Wilds when the credits finish and you go back to the main menu. The title song still gives me nostalgic feelings.

RE2 and RE4 remakes did this to me.
I rose from the grave, hunted down my murderer across the wasteland, fought in tribal conflicts, conquered ancient technological wonders, found lost treasure and learned to let it go, duelled my rival, brought down two armies. But nothing was harder than when it dawned on me, there was nothing left to do.. My story is done.
Even since finishing Yakuza 0 and Persona 4 Golden, it’s there.
The emptiness isn’t going anywhere.
Me after the Witcher 3 knowing I will never get that first experience back
Luckily it’s a game you can play over 10 times and see new things

I finished Cyberpunk 2077… really a great game, great ending.
I really didnt like the game at first but the scenario became so deep.

Currently feeling this after just finishing the last of us part 1. I never owned a playstation so the PC port was my first time playing it. I understand the release has been a shitshow but I guess I got lucky as I never had a single crash or bug throughout my play through. What an incredible game

Mass effect trilogy did this to me. Also it really made other romance options look weak in comparison now 🙁
I got this feeling intensely when I beat Elden Ring and then got to the endgame on my New Game Plus in a fraction of the time it took me initially. I felt almost paralyzed. Yeah I was super depressed at the time but that’s not the point

Finishing Outer Wilds was the saddest thing I’ve experienced in 30 years of gaming, not because the game is depressing or anything like that but it’s just one of those “you can experience it fully once in a lifetime” type of game. Replaying it is always going to be fun, but it’s never going to be the same as the first time you go through all it’s mystery. 11/10, you’ll have an existential crisis, DON’T SPOIL YOURSELF, highly recommended
