Someone made a “who remembers Twisted Metal” post, and it jogged my memory of this game. I sunk SOOO many hours into it.
I wish someone would come out with a remake of this one.
I think of these Car combat games daily.
Cel Damage!
So many hours. Was fun!
You could play the game disc in your cd player too
Yep i remember and we used to play it multiplayer too!
Still one of my best gaming memories.
Was in a multi-person fight, everyone eliminated but me and one other person and we are both badly damages, broken axels, out of most ammo, etc; we are just ramming each other. He takes off toward a repair garage and I follow, he dropped some mine and with some luck I trigger my afterburners and get pushed into the air and sail over him. As I pass over him I trigger my last landmines they get got destroyed and my truck limped into the garage.
Awesome game. I’d love to see an enhanced version, where teh geometry didn’t pop in 3 meters in front of you, and maybe had a co-op option for missions, and generally slightly better graphics; like reolution, and textures.
Loved this game when I was a kid I remember me and my brother doing Lan deathmatch good memories

I loved this and the sequel. I definitely think about it anytime someone mentions remaking Twisted Metal or Carmageddon.
I only had the demo disc but I remember playing it a ton
I bought this game from a gamestore by random, knew nothing about it before purchase. Best damn investment ever. Oh and RETPOCILEH, knowers know.
Awesome game. [There was a button for CB radio poetry!](https://youtu.be/-sUOOaORai0)
