When you have triple 32-bit processing power, nothing else matters.

  • ‘chel ’95 was honestly the last hockey game I enjoyed playing.. I liked running one guy into the goalie to get ’em away from the net, then switching to the person with the puck and scoring real quick. =D

  • Wow, now I’m curious to look up the deal with the processing… Interesting that the PlayStation out performed it only for the PS3 make the same mistake.

I’m of the age where my friends/neighbors had “the other” consoles. I had the NES, SNES, Gameboy, and N64, my friend had the Genesis, Game Gear, and Saturn. The PlayStation wasn’t the hotness yet… The Rumble pack was awesome but the Dreamcast took it to another level. What an underrated console.

  • the problem is for modern code parallel and multicore which is all very 90’s stuff but industry required standard post year 2000 which intel and nvidia have still been faking its well its very umm easy its the COMPILER and LANGUAGE you chose to code with.. which you type the same words in and do the same things but they work faster and better by millions of times and have some new features. All older features and code works but faster in the new language.

So people didnt develop for sega saturn because in the 80’s the ATARI ST 2000 had a very cheap sorta 2bit faked 8bit chip.. they like halved their bit depths by mirroring them and + and minus – them.. and pretended to have more colours and bit depth than they did with software tricks. Sort of like dubstep remixing the same doorbell audio of up to 8 notes in length nintendo did for their dumpster dived doorbells pretending to be a soundcard in NES and gameboy and snes and stuff which gives people the false image of beeps and boops associated with video games. (that and cheapest pc speakers for error beeps). The same reason nvidia had 3GB RAM in their advertised 4 or 6GB cards and yeah they literally cut corners and are still 2d rastering while AMD is 6th and 7th dimensioning their games while professional hollywood graphics animation rendering quality called PRORENDER a long ways since AMD chips ray traced in their voodoo3dfx cards with AMD fire rays and in ps2 with like radeon rays and radeon rays next in vega core cards? and then pro render.

what i mean to say is.. the ATARI ST 2000s chip was doubled and placed inside a keyboard and sold for many many times the price when it was actually cheaper than ever.. and was called COMMODORE 64.. they threw in the cheapest cassette tape drives that sometimes didnt work new from the box. SO when they heard the sega saturn had 3 chips in there.. and nobody would code for it to use multicore or parallel by using a new language which is effortless or they could use a wrapper to use a dictionary of new language words and convert the old ones to it. But no.. they hated how expensive the saturn was because they knew they were being ripped off massively for nintendos garbage find in dumpster parts of abandoned factories and ataris cheapest parts you could buy that were computery becoming far cheaper making a game console from what was maybe meant for say boom boxes and tv’s and phones and modems and stuff then decades later reselling them the same cheapest nastiest stuff in double but hiding it inside a keyboard so double the sales of the atari 2000 with hundreds of times the cost by hiding it within a keyboard genius.. sega really advertised and marketed it wrong.. and had some of the coolest looking games in japanese only that nobody in america spoke japanese to translate or port the game japanese people didnt see demand for their titles in our market as it didnt have the same one or two 80s action movie guys in it and all up inside of it that everybody loved wayy after the 80s still and are even puppeting their old man probably not corpses around on the screen even now refusing to replace them with younger hotter amatuer actors without hard to make out accents and even harder to make out with faces.
