I thought it wasn’t in the game and you just had to get creative with the metal glider things and stuff. I was trying this spring challenge and kept dying to fall damage. Finally realized how much easier the game is with that
It’s crazy that the first thing coming to my mind is the picture of Yamcha in this exact same position and hole. Even if I haven’t seen that since like 20 years. The brain is amazing.
I ran into the impa(?) mission where she has you take her up in the hot air balloon to inspect the image and locate the tear.
We get up to height and she’s like “cool thanks, you can paraglide down and I’ll be fine”
WHAT??? I DONT HAVE ONE! I just sat there dumbfounded as we floated higher and higher
So a load the save before I went up with her, and go to the tear location. Watch the cutscene, and she appears next to me
She’s like “nice you found the tear, but I wanna take the air ballon up to get a better view”
ARE YOU KIDDING MEEEE
Spent the next 30 minutes jumping off and aiming for water that is just barely in range of the balloon, and failing again and again (eventually made it)
Between that mission and a couple shrines that would have been way easier with the paraglider, I decided I needed to figure out how the hell to get the paraglider (I even found the horse god fabric before the paraglider itself)
I got to a shrine early on that I’m pretty sure is impossible without the paraglider and spent like a half hour in there before I realized that I probably just wasn’t supposed to be there yet.
I explored most of the area around Kakariko village before figuring out how to get the paraglider…
New players, FOLLOW YOUR FIRST QUEST PROMPTS. if you’re going to immediately explore all you can without following your first prompts, you’re gonna have a bad time.
Played 26 hours without knowing where to get the glider. Death in this matter was all too common. Fuck the MSQ I’m exploring
Or when you’ve progressed a bit – when you forget you don’t have your glide set equipped.
The first thing I did when I got to the surface was ride a rock up to one of the tiny islands….mistakes were made trying to aim for the bushes.
Omg, yamcha got yamchad
The fact that you can skip/miss the paraglider makes this game amazing.
Palms sweaty
“Hey beta, how does that hole in your chest feel?”
“I don’t know how’s yours?”
“…you have a 5 minute headstart”
“Thanks, I’m gonna need it!”
When that pool of water you were aiming for turns out to be a few inches deep:
Linkcha

Krillin: Yamcha, no!!!
Yamcha: What?
Krillin: Sorry, force of habit. Link, no!!!
When you have the glider anyway but can be dumb af sometimes and you push right bumper just to make sure Link catches the ground with his face

So I obviously went in blind and explored first;

Is it bad that I can hear this picture? Ugh that gruesome moan before the red “game over” letters pop up.

I love using the level 2 skydive gear. It makes you impact proof so you can hit the ground at full speed and just start walking its great.
I have REPEATEDLY blown myself up because I tried to use a bomb arrow in a hot zone.
I’m just glad it’s not the *other* Yamcha-owned meme 😬
Nah I’m fine,>! I have the Skydiving Armor!< bruh.
Oof got Yamcha’d
Yamcha catching strays everywhere
I died so many times in the beginning because I forgot that I didn’t have the paraglider. After BotW it was basic muscle memory.
poor zelda **(if you see what I mean x))**
