I’m brainwashing my child with Pokemon and this gem came on. Soon she, too, will be able to play the same game twenty-five times.
Sufficient for the target audience
I keep seeing posts on Instagram from artists making pixel art of basically Pokemon games.
But they are as if they evolved. Like rather than getting the same game over and over with new Pokemon and areas, it was like going from Zelda on NES, to Link to the Past on SNES.
It’s just a shame the treatment Pokemon games got.
Have they fixed the whole lack of variety in trainers? I got tired of slogging through trainers who all used the same 2 pokemon years ago.
I’d say they stopped being good after USUM, but Legends Arceus was terrific. Sword/Shield were meh, and there was a strong vision for Scarlet/Violet, but Gamefreak apparently doesn’t have the technical skill to make large games like that.
And it’ll still makes more money than ***several*** first world countries xD
Just play cassette beasts instead lol
Most likely we are going to get another remake game within the next year or so and then we will have a new gen game after that. That seems to be their flow lately. Honestly a Gold/Silver remake would be great to see
And yet all the Nintendorks will slop it up anyway

Pokemon stopped at emerald for me… Will always be my #1 game.
I enjoyed the last game
I didn’t run into bugs on either version and beat it twice
Not saying it was perfect but I enjoyed my time, especially on my first run beat the game by my second weekend with it
Honestly, they did good with the new open world format. People sleep on that fact, but the performance issues still stand.
On top of that, the series has always had issues with difficulty, arbitrarily splitting into two versions each generation, old Pokemon beginning to be excluded, the list goes on.
Rom hacks have kept things fresh for me. I sorta feel like that’s always gonna be the case.
the games are for children. you were a child playing pokemon red or gold or whatever and it suited you fine.
I miss the 2d art style. Black2 and white2 were amazing.

Why can’t they do the Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee graphical style and fidelity in a mainline game. Those games looked so good.
The series is for kids but Pokemon knows a bunch of the original players are @ 30 years old and they could license the game to another company give them time to make a much fuller more mature game
Is this referencing the one with the motorcycle legendaries or is there a newer one that is as bad?
Just release pokemon red/blue/yellow on switch = instant billions
