When did Aussie horror get so good? -This isn’t a video topic I’d ever seen before and the only film I’ve seen that the creator mentions is Wolf Creek but it did make me interested in seeing the others (Talk to Me, Lake Mungo, The Loved Ones Relic and Sissy)

I made the mistake of watching Saw, Wolf Creek and Hostel over a weekend. It messed me up for weeks.
And The Babadook, that’s left out for some reason. Definitely the most famous Aussie horror movie.
The Loved Ones is really great. I wish Sean Byrne made more stuff
Talk to Me is excellent. Although Mark Kermode had raved about the Babadook, I’m going to say that it was a *bit* of a curates egg and slightly *less* than the sum of its parts. Took a friend to see Wolf Creek when it was at the cinema- assuring him that it was just a film about friends going on a road trip in Australia- and he actually walked out.
Talk to me was absolutely spectacular. Rewatched it with different friends a few times.
Talk to me is the goat
