Loved this cool little game, I used to rent this one from the video store a lot as a kid, they eventually let me buy it off them, probably rented it enough times to buy it multiple times.
Didn’t realise it sold for a small sum. Not sure how rare this one actually is, I just know I’ve never seen it in any retro stores or comic con stalls.

Probably GTA V. I’ve never seen anyone else play it.
I had a copy of the PS1 game, Alundra. It was kind of a sleeper of a game, kind of a Zelda-like game but significantly harder.
Probably Japan Pro Golf Tour for the N64DD
Have a sealed copy of Valkyrie Profile for PS1. 💪
Sonic 3D Blast for the Sega Saturn
I have star wars rogue squadron on N64 in its box.
I got X-men vs street fighter ps1
It’s not really rare, but I have a copy of Ocarina of Time that has the crescent and star instead of the weird diamond with boobs thing they changed it to.
I’m not sure how rare it is, but I do have an untouched Poké Walker from HGSS that still has the battery pull tab in it. I have the perfect condition box as well.
Probably Cubivore for Gamecube. It sells for $400+ on ebay.
Ive got secret of mana, earthbound, and chrono trigger on SNES.
Not really a game, but I have a gameboy micro which is pretty cool.
Zeldas Adventure for Phillips CDi
Personally, it’s not a game, but I have a magnificent Vectrex console and a Nintendo Virtual Boy that I hold dear.
I forget the names, but they were promotional Xbox games from Burger King
Edit: Sneak King, Pocketbike Racer, and Big Bumpin
My brother has lots of rarities, he just sold 2 Playstation 2 games for $500 total. Haunting Ground and Echo Night Beyond
Descent in the tall PS1 box.
P.T. demo
Skies of Arcadia Legends on the Gamecube.
Wild Arms Alter Code: F.
apparently it can go for $150 to $200 online.
Rule of Rose PS2
“Serial Experiments”, the Japanese PS1 game based on the anime “Serial Experiments: Lain”.
After that is probably “Rule of Rose” on PS2.
Probably amplitude on ps2
I have a virtual boy and probably 4 or 5 sealed games
I’ve owned AND sold a copy for Hagane: The Final Conflict for SNES.
Still have my copy of Steel Battalion and the controller

Not a collector, but have two worth mentioning.

2. Original Final Fantasy for NES complete in box
I have my original install disks for Diablo 2 and Diablo 2:LOD and the battlechest it came in, with all the booklets and guides and whatnot.
Banjo kazooie made by RARE
Chrono Cross
I have Mega Man Legends 1 & 2 in their original cases for PS1. Wish I still had my NES games, but my mom sold them to further invest in beanie babies when I was at summer camp.
Its not exactly rare, but definitely not much popular: Oddworld Abe’s Odyssey for PC (I think it was for Windows 98)
Game Boy Color copy of Metal Gear Solid. It was the first game I ever bought for my Game Boy Color back in the day.
Metroid Prime Trilogy on the Wii.
Sealed GameCube Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
The Legend of Korra.
Steam keys go for over $200 now.
Mega Man Legends 1 & 2 for PS1
Panzer Dragoon Saga for the Sega Saturn. Boxed, with a few extra copies of Disc 1 as it was given away as a demo disc with the Official Sega Saturn magazine.
It was released late in the Saturn’s life, which was never as popular a console as the PlayStation so not as many people got to play it that should have, which is a shame because it remains one of my favourite games of all time. An epic story spanning 4 discs, large (for the time) open areas to explore, a very clever time based rather than turn based combat system, and some pretty memorable moments.
I wish it would get a modern day remake. Keep the gameplay as is but just improve the graphics to modern standards and I’d happily pay folding money to play it again.
Ergheiz maybe? Don’t even remember if that’s how you spell it. Or Dragon Ball GT Final Bout before it was re-released.
Like, ‘rarest’? My father made an Asteroids bootleg for the Atari 800 series, which was basically just a replacement of the ship and asteroids with a dick and boobs respectively when they were introing into programming easily a decade or two before I was born. There were maybe 5 copies of it in existence, and I’m the lucky owner of one of them.
Actual games that can be recollected by any grouping of a wider mass audience? Probably Redneck Rampage for PC, Star Trek: SOS for the 800, or Corpse Killer for the CD32X, with original casing/manuals/etc. save SOS. The first isn’t my proudest own, but it is pretty funny as a timepiece and fun as a ripoff, the mid is pretty enjoyable but super simple, and wow is Corpse Killer just bad… And I love OTR shooters, Panzer Dragoon is a classic in my books, but Corpse Killer really felt like House of 1000 Corpses if it was worse than it already was.
