I am 100% against pre-orders! it, along with buying a game before reviews come out, are the overwhelming reason games are able to be so shitty today. It’s not hard waiting till a couple days to hear reviewers overall opinion on the game before buying. And there’s rarely a good enough reason to pre-order.

Jak x Racing was the best
As I always say dont blame the companies alone the gamers are also responible.
Take loot boxes in game we would not have that in games tody but we do becuse people spend money on them. I mean why habe lootboxes if no one is buying them.
Idk I’d pre-order a 4k remake of the Jak trilogy and then pay another $40 for JakX

This gif strongly reminds me of Re-Volt. Not sure if anyone remembers that racing game- it was Mario Kart style (random weapon pickups) with RC cars. It was the racing game of my childhood (though I’m sure it wouldn’t hold up).

I remember hearing about this game but not knowing it was a racing game, I thought it was a continuation of Jak 3. My dad got it for me for my birthday and of course it was unwrapped and in the PS2 in seconds, my disappointment only lasted slightly longer lol.

Jak X was so good
This was my favorite racing game by far ! It had a story, a nice combat mode etc. Just the best, I played it so much on the ps2.
I worked with guy that was going on for months about how excited he was for his Anthem pre order and how awesome it’ll be.
He was a douche so naturally I derived some joy when it turns out to be a huge pile of shit.
Wow this game induced a rage in me like no other, lost many a PS2 controller to this gem
