“A Short Hike” on steam I found very relaxing. Fun movement, simple story and characters, fun side things to do and a fun island to explore. It’s a really good little simple unwind game.
Anno 1800 is my latest go-to. The complete edition with season 3 pack was 50% off on Epic Games. Totally worth it. No idea why I didn’t look into this game when it came out!
Red dead redemption 2. The tone in general has been slowed so much. You can just go hunt or camp out somewhere with your horse, sit down by a fire listening to people play music. Or just fish.
No Man’s Sky. It can have moments of stress if pirates or horrendous weather get in the way, but most times it’s delightful. The score for that game is criminally underrated.
Stardew Valley.
Valheim. Building in the meadows, listening to the music. I get kind of lost in it.
Death Stranding
I ki d of thought subnautica was relaxing. Swimming in the shallows was pretty calm
I find puzzle games relaxing. Lumines, Tetris (especially effect), columns, etc
Sometimes Sea of theives
I always thought the Pokémon series was relaxing. It may just be the nostalgia but I always return to it when the next game comes out
Starbound
old games , hack and slash. New games a bit stress with puzzle and my brain to old and need to go youtube to solve it.
Any game I’ve played a bunch of times and know like the back of my hand. Final fantasy vi comes to mind.
Minecraft with it’s music in single player
