One common way is to take the current data transfer speed, and use that in a calculation to figure out at that specific speed, how long will the remaining amount of data take to transfer. Transfer speeds change when transferring multiple files (small files take longer for instance, there is some overhead time in creating a file, so 1x 100MB file would take less time to transfer than 100x 1 MB files). Due to this change in current speed, the estimating can be wildly incorrect.
Another way (I’ve heard it called the Linux way) of estimating ‘time to completion’ on file transfers is to calculate how much data had been transferred so far, how long this has taken, and how much data is left. This way takes into account the entire amount of data moved so far, rather than just a snapshot of current transfer speed.

Good. The only game in recent memory where I had my teammates kill me right when the match started….multiple times.
Also one of very few games I’ve uninstalled. Love the idea, fan of the series, fuck the toxic community and I play LoL.
