While I feel bad for you since someone stole the code. I also don’t at the same time… since you just posted it and didn’t seem to care or really think it could be redeemed. I do have to say though the guy that got it seems like a prick from the way he just said “thanks for the game” fuck off man.

I’m still waiting for them to resolve a similar issue. My code is completely legible, it just isn’t valid for some reason. I have been in contact with support for almost a WEEK with no resolution. So far, very disappointed in Sony on this one.
Next time don’t scratch the layer off like an animal. U barely got to use pressure. The reason this happens is when u apply a lot of pressure when scratching.

My kid once obliterated the code on his Xbox card. Support was able to provide me with a new code as I could give them what I could partially see, plus the receipt.
Well, it is forbidden
Take a hair drier on high and blast it for a few minutes. The scratch sticker will come off and the code is printed underneath. The key is patience or you’ll lose the code
I hate Sony support they suck .
Definitely contact them but get ready because it’s a fiasco same exact thing happened to me. Still in the process of getting replacement. If you got it from PlayStation direct you’ll need to take a sales specialist through their god awful chat system. It’ll take a day or two for someone to answer you. Just helping you skip that step.

Scratch it harder, this happened to me as well. I used a scissors blade and just scratched it down a second time and it cleaned it up.

Same thing happened to me. Try using the zoom on your camera phone. I was able to easily differentiate the code with the camera. Good luck. Also be smart about what thr letters/numbers could be. A lot of times, it easy to figure out what they are (I mixed up a “B” and “F”).
Did you use a coin to scratch that? I’ve ran across this when I use a key sometimes.

Someone on gamecollecting used air duster upside down to spray really cold air to make a sticker come off a sealed game, wonder if you could spray it and make the letters more stiff and scratch able since it’s different material then The paper
