I was a Windows user from the first time it existed. (MS/DOS before that.) Over the years, Microsoft got more and more “pushy” and added more and more CRAP to their OS that I couldn’t remove (grrrr) until I felt like I was just “renting” my computer and it belonged to someone else.
A few years ago, I switched to Chromebook and it was a good experience and good choice. Not perfect, of course, but not actually a victim of the “nanny state” like Windows. (Hope that doesn’t change.)
