If I haven’t played a save in awhile, I delete them and start over. I like the journey. Picking up a game months later to your overpowered badass to just slaughter everything without effort isn’t fun IMO. Maybe I’m weird. 🤷♂️
Fallout 4, Skyrim… Oh, how many characters have been abandoned over the years. Where are they, what skills do they have?
Hm… is there a tool to compare characters within a certain games’ save files to know what route I took with each character, in terms of skills and perks and what not?
Maybe something to put ChatGPT on.
EDIT: Srsly. I just tried it, and it spat out the code in python for me. Holy shit.
To me it’s a sign that it’s a good game — the more often I need to save, the more likely it is that I’ve got to keep making decisions that matter, which is something I really enjoy
me with 7 cyberpunk builds none of which have compelted the first takemura quest or even the heist in some cases and my 18 skyrim saves becaus ei like vairety.
I have this problem with RPG’s a lot of the times. Start a new game and getting invested in it, but because I try and do everything I can do I burn myself out. Couple months later do the same thing all over again.
Started Fallout 4 agin last night. I have 6 characters, all with the same name and haven’t beaten the base game or touched any of the dlc. This time will be different… right?
Basically my time with any RPG game.
Well yeah. You save before every decision so just in case it’s the wrong one.
Is there any other way to play lol.
Probably have 10 games saved… while looking for another one to play.
Skyrim, Factorio, Terraria, why do I keep doing this.
The worst thing is when you have to start a new game just to remember the controls.
Well I gotta see what the different choices do
This is my PC with porn games. I can count the number of ones that have actually been finished on my non-dominant hand.

As a kid, I would often restart gens 1-4 just because I enjoyed the opening hour or so of pokemon games so much
Me in Half Life 2, when I get to Nova Prospekt

My friend with his civ 6 games
Me on Witcher 3 this Tuesday
Starting a game again after months of break.
Skyrim and Fallout for me. Lots of choices in character selection. For most I dont have the mods I used to have.

Skyrim & XCom 2 for me
I still haven’t finished New Vegas. I don’t know which side to choose. Making decisions is hard.

Stellaris vibes
Yeah but it’s been like 3 weeks since I played so I have to replay the first few missions to *remember how* to play.

Welcome to a Total war campaign…
the pokemon format fits a little too well (at least for me)
Satisfactory and Dyson Sphere Program have me like this. Every time there’s an update I don’t want to play my current save anymore.
Ooh, man. This is me and Wrath of the Righteous right now. Too many damn options.
I always murder them off to pretend like it’s not happening
Why you gotta call me out like this.
