I *really* want this to be good. I want Tim Burton to surprise me. I want it to be more than Riverdale with Uncle Fester. And I continue to hope it is.
Everything that I’ve seen Jenna Ortega in I’ve loved her performance, so I will definitely check it out. But I am worried that this might just be another thing like The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina or Riverdale
I’m all in for this. Burton was born for an Addams project. Ortega has been good in the few things I’ve seen her in (Scream, X). She seems well cast here.
I trust Burton to prevent this from sliding into CW territory.
And of course where there’s Burton there’s Elfman, always a win.
Is this the thing with Luis Guzman as Gomez? Because ever since becoming familiar with Tony Dalton, I can’t support any new Addams Family projects where he’s not Gomez. Just, like, what the fuck? Unless it turns out Tony hates the Addams Family and people used to bully him and call him Gomez or some shit. I’ll probably just get over it then.
Thing feels borderline try-hard edgy…but maybe it’ll be fine. I’ve never been a super fan or anything.
The Munsters was my jam. I remember watching that all the time as a kid. I’ll be honest, I’m not looking forward to THAT reboot. This one seems like it might be better.
I want this to be good, but I think with all I’ve seen they are missing the fun that came with the Addams family. While it does skew into the spooky stuff, it had a lot of humour and heart
Tim Burton + Wednesday Addams = Surprisingly good combo.

If they don’t release this on a Wednesday…
Feels pretty creepy and kooky. Just hope it’s mysterious and spooky.

From a visual standpoint, the role fits her like a glove.

They should have done something with the person that did the Adult Wednesday Addams skits.
Jenna Ortega is the moment!
Watch Netflix fuck up and debut this on a Friday

> Jenna Ortega
Say no more fam. I don’t even have to watch the trailer, I’m in.
Hmm. I’m sceptical of this (Wednesday never seemed the type to care about her hair/shirt/appearance) , but I’ll reserve judgement until it comes out.
Will Netflix forgo their Friday releases and drop this on a Wednesday?
It has some American McGee’s Alice vibes.
Thing, you glorious bastard!
There was a youtuber that did an adult Wednesday Adams. I enjoyed it but she eventually got told to stop by the rights holders.
“We here at Netflix have decided to stop greenlighting pet projects”
*Releases trailer for 1899 and whatever this is*
I dunno she doesn’t look *enough* like a haunted Victorian child.
I’m kidding. She’ll be great. Hopefully the show around her will be good too.
But why?
Reminds me if the “Adult Wednesday” series on Youtube that was sued into oblivion…

If this is going to be anything as close as fun as adult Wednesday by melissa hunter. It will be really fun to watch
It is Wednesday my dudes

Can’t wait for the series finale cliffhanger from when it inevitably gets canceled without proper planning or follow through.
