And pricing them as if they were only released new this year, I see. Better to go to gamexchange or another videogame resale shop (*not* gamestop, though. Screw them)
You think it’s bad now…wait until China invades Taiwan…there is basically ONE company producing high quality microchips…and making chips for video games will drop to “least important”.
Why do you think Sony changed their usual “exclusive” titles a few years ago? Now they’re porting PS exclusives to PC and other platforms to make profit because they can’t get enough PS5 in people’s hands fast enough.
Maybe you guys can help. I want to play couch coop with my wife (currently just have a PC for games), things like stardew valley etc.
I was gonna buy a second hand Switch but the idea that it’s loaded with old components puts me off a little.. is there a better/cheaper way we can do this, or I wouldn’t mind paying slightly more for a better system that has better components. We’d play infrequently and casually btw.
I tried looking for steam link on our TV apps but couldn’t find it. Streaming from my PC would be ideal, but it’s actually located in a garden studio via powerline Ethernet (TP Link) and I’m not sure if that’ll add loads of latency, also not sure how connecting controllers would work or which controllers to buy!
Is this for real? I bought a used animal crossing edition on eBay for ~80$ which I thought had no problems but the side rails were malfunctioning. Spent probably 20$ on parts.
That’s pretty expensive for a used switch, even with controllers. Could get a used one on eBay for more than half that price if your lucky
Could be wrong, but I believe it was an online purchase that was returned. I’ve worked for Big Blue for a while, and outside of a brief time selling refurbished games, walmart doesn’t do refurbs in the store, and the web says only available online.
A lot of you guys acting like you’ve never bought a used console before. I would be hesitant to buy one from Walmart but there is typically nothing wrong with used ones.

This is so weird lol I don’t trust walmart at all to buy used anything
$259 holy moly
No thanks.
Ain’t no way
It’d make sense if it was priced as such.
$30 less than new. Stupid.
Not for $259 their not lol
What if they are old enough to be moddable? đź‘€

Weird how it’s more expensive to buy an old used switch than a brand new one
What are the chances of this already being banned online?
I don’t trust that
$259 for a refurbished? Jesus just shell out the other $40 for a brand new one
In case anyone wants to buy a Switch, Gamestop sells it brand new for $229.99 and Pro members price is $218.49
I wouldn’t trust walmart to sell a refurbished turd
Can’t pass up that deal!

Any ideas would be great!
Now you don’t have to wait years for drifting!
Take off $100 and its a maybe.
Eww
at most should be 200,
Because they will make more money this way
Nothing wrong with Refurbished. It just means they replaced any broken parts on the inside with new parts but for that price hell no that’s crazy.
Who is refurbishing them? Because if it is anyone other than Nintendo themselves, all they do is use a wet wipe on the plastic and call it a day.
That’s absurdly pricey for a second hand old tech handheld
Bro I got lucky when I bought mine. I got it at a pawn shop for $150 like 3 or 4 years ago and it STILL works as if brand new
I see you misspelled “second hand”

are these the old models you can hack?
Shit, for that price, just buy a brand new OLED model. Better battery, better colors, better screen size.
I don’t think that I’ll buy
Huh didnt know this was the american gaming subreddit
Do we know if it is restored as in “A user had it for some time and then sold it back to us”
or restored as in “Some units arrived with a defect, were returned to the manufacturer, fixed and now we sell them for a lower price”?
For full price? Or is that $40 less?
211 used at game stop.

You can get a **new** Steam Deck for $90 more.
