I don’t think it looks that bad, but it just feels like if I go see this movie in theatres I’m going to feel like Sony is still trying to sell me something the whole movie even though I already bought a ticket.
I haven’t played the games, but Fleischer hasn’t put out anything worthwhile since the first Zombieland. He’s just become so bland, like a *poorer* man’s Shawn Levy
I really wish this would be good. I like Tom Holland not doing a Michael J Fox impersonation like his Spider-Man roles. But Mark Wahlberg and the cheesy effects… I don’t know.
If, BIG if. But if Tom Holland does a few things with his career a certain way, he could end up as this generations Tom Cruise. Because right now we don’t really have a definite next in line. Plus Tom will probably live to be 430.
So….’set piece’ the motion picture? I’m mostly alright with that – pull the ‘greatest hits’ from the games, weave your own story that mostly stays in line with the games, and you have a fun popcorn film.
Looks alright. The games weren’t exactly high art, mainly just good on a technical level. The first game was pretty generic itself, so hopefully if this has sequels, they follow a similar path in quality. Apart from the casting being a little off, I’m also a little disappointed the music from the games seemingly isn’t being used.
Looks like an entertaining adventure romp, and a shite Uncharted movie. I’m gonna go in and just pretend it’s a New IP so I can have some fun with it, cause that ain’t Drake and Sully. It’s Spidey and Marky Mark.
Is this movie really not going to use the Uncharted theme in any way shape or form?
Like wth? Other than the names and the shirt this looks like it could be any other franchise. I really don’t get why they don’t lean a little into the things that made the actual game recognizable and the music is one.
Honestly this just looks bad, I don’t care that it is meant to be *lighthearted fun*™, I don’t care that it is a popcorn flick, because it doesn’t actually look an enjoyable one. It just looks like a terribly misguided and bad movie.
Like it is okay to still have some standards when it comes to action movies, we don’t need to defend bottom of the barrel shit, this just looks ass.
I am really looking forward to seeing how this turns out…but my biggest complaint over the course of 3 trailers now has been no theme music…where’s Nate’s Theme?
“What else aren’t you telling me” Jesus, Holland sounded outright bored delivering that line. It seems his previous sentiment about ‘focusing more on looking cool than giving a good performance’ wasn’t him being self doubtful, or putting himself down but instead an admission of a genuinely piss-poor performance
There’s a 16 year time gap between Uncharted 3’s prologue and Uncharted 1. They could have done SO much with during that 16 years, yet they decided to do their own thing and separate it from the games. Wtf
Little pre teen looking pretty boy Nathan Drake
and Sully, his “older” companion, who is maybe 10 years ahead of him.
Oh and he is also buff, but Nathan Drake isn’t
Big fan of the games…This just doesn’t feel right at all. Casting isn’t right. I’m gonna go see it but I have very little faith it’ll be anything but Uncharted in name only. Tom Holland shouldn’t have played Nathan Drake, even if it’s a younger version. This is Peter Parker cosplaying as Nathan Drake. Marky Mark is not Sully. If the movie turns out to be decent and a fun action movie, then cool. But as a fan of the games I guess I just need to separate the two…Even though I shouldn’t have to. It’s literally called Uncharted and based on the games. So isn’t it fair to judge it based on that?
Final? You promise?

I’d see this but I am not a Mark Wahlberg fan. Maybe it’ll be worth a rental.

Two things.
Those sparks look ridiculous and the fact that Mark couldn’t be bothered to grow a mustache to play Sully pisses me off to no end.

Seriously, I think this trailer might have actually sold me on Marky Mark’s Sully.
The Jackie Chan ode / light jump is pretty cool.
The best part of the trailer was the cat.

Holy shit this is the worst casting I’ve seen in a long time. Neither of the leads remotely embody the characters.

I’m so ready to be completely and utterly whelmed by this

I’m only watching it because I got the game and a movie ticket for $15
It looks a bit like he’s looking for one eyed Willy’s treasure in some of those clips, hmmm now where have I seen that before?
Looks much better than marvels super hero movies in terms of enjoyment.

Antonio Banderas is one of the greatest actors of this generations but in English roles he always gets these stereotypical roles. Such a shame
They keep showing off that airplane scene like it’s the only exciting part of the movie. I’m also sure that pirate ship scene is the big finale
Everything from the editing of the trailer to the ADR lines is so generic.
Man. I kinda wish they had Tom Hanks as sully. Sully doesn’t need to be this bodacious dude with action chops.
This played for me before Nightmare Alley and it basically shows the whole plot. Even the girl in it is obviously going to backstab them
