As a high school woodshop teacher this is too much. Just every single one I pucker up watching it happen. I take pride that I have never been hurt or that my students have not been. But it’s the stuff in this video that keeps me up at night.
Yeah that’s some good scared safe material.
When I rode motorcycles daily, every once in a while I’d go to this website called ridetodie.com to scare the shit out of myself to stay safe. Seeing what can happen to you is a very good reminder.
Woodworking accidents are no joke. This stuff scares me straight every time I go to use a tool. As a musician building instruments it’s terrifying thinking that building an instrument could prevent me from ever playing one again.
I got my ring finger nipped by a table router once when a piece of wood hit a knot and jerked on it. Bled like a motherfucker and I only barely knocked and it took about 10years for my fingerprint to come back. Was funny every time I had to be fingerprinted for govt related stuff I had no ring finger print on file for my right hand.
