I know people who were fans of 2015 Final Girl and director himself got a bit upset about this one.
I think this one might be more up more alley, when it comes to violence and humour. Something Final Girl lacked for me (I know the studio demanded it). This could be a lot more fun, hopefully it keep the heart of Final Girl about Daugther and Mother stuff.
