Wow! This really brings me back!!! This is based on the movie, ‘Electric Dreams’ from 1984. I loved that movie as a kid!!!

I remember reading that the female lead was crushing madly in love for the male lead during the shoot. She said he was an absolute gentleman but she still held a candle for him even after decades.
It’s actually a sweet movie overall.

Fun fact: It features Bud Cort in it who was the voice of the computer.

This movie hit me hard. Virginia madsen just glowed beauty and radiated sweetness and the male lead was just the ideal “tofu” everyman (like matthew Modine in Full Metal Jacket and Visionquest).Plus this was the first computer centric film I saw (did wargames come out before or after?)Great sweet film. Innocent times for my innocent mind
