Holy moly. I think I watched this show every day in preschool for a bit before nap time. This really brings back some super early memories for me
My MIDDLE SCHOOL teachers used to put this on for us and we weren’t allowed to do anything (including reading) but watch. I fucking hated it.

Watched this a lot as a kid. Hated it so much, but siblings insisted on watching it. This opening sequence still makes me cringe. With that being said I recall there was one particular episode I liked where Sam setup his computer to somehow start printing hamburgers but then it lost control and wouldnāt stop and there were hamburgers everywhere.
Fuuuuuck nostalgia overload. Born in 79 and lived on Nickelodeon.

I watched this all the time during the 80s on Nickelodeon. Combined with You Can’t Do That on Television, I got a lot of my entertainment imported from Canada.

I remember seeing this intro many times as a kid. I don’t think I watched a single episode.
Zoobilee Zoo is another one I remember this way. I remember the intro and then I must have changed channels every time.

I used to love this show and I still think about some of the songs they sung. I used to watch it with my little brother but I probably enjoyed it more than he did. Jeff the mannequin was kind of a ham.

Ol for people who watched this. Thr last episode I ever saw was they were going to tear down the building. But then it was revealed behind a painting in the mouses house it was a historic building. I never saw episodes after. It’s been a cliffhanger for most of my life and a summary of how it ended would be amazing.

This was my favorite show as a preschooler.
My parents were a mixed couple (black wife, white husband). I didnāt know anyone else with parents like mine.
So just seeing a black woman who was best friends with a white guy (albeit a mannequin) was awesome to three year old me. I would look for Jeff every time I went to the mall with my mom.
Anyone else remember the security guards office going berserk or am I making that up?

I grew up in Canada and remember watching this show as a kid. I moved to California in 1990 and when ever I talked about this show, nobody knew what O was taking about!! It aired in the US too, right?

When I was a young kid (1992) I used to watch Today Special and Wind In The Willows back to back everyday after school. I miss those days.

Iāmā¦ im transported back to a world where shows like this were my oasis from my parents. My brother was born in 81, I was 11. Everyone was so caught up with the baby they just put me in front of this show to keep me quiet. Also Fraggle Rock and The Great Space Coaster.
Seeing this brought a lot up out of the darkness of time passed.
Man I forgot how popular Muppets were. They were fucking everywhere back then. They would just pop up in random commercials or movies and everyone was just like oh cool a Muppet.

I LOVED this show when I was a kid and would watch it all the time. When I was pregnant with my now 9 yr old daughter I memorized a song from one of the episodes, a lullaby that Jody sings to Jeff. She still asks me to sing it toher at bedtime. Sang it twice last week!
