That thing helped me pass down time in the army. I still remember the day my wife traded it in at GameStop. I gave her permission to do it. I forgot that my memory card was in it.
I had a friend who had one. Saw him playing maul in Lego sw and that sent me down a path for sure. I asked for one every bday and christmas for so many years it became a running joke lol
The PSP is one of the greatest gaming handheld consoles to me. I had 2 of the original ones. One had got stolen cuz I stupidly brought it to school to show my friends in gym class. The other has screen problems. It was a crazy time man haha 😆 Now I had the PSP Go and I still kept to this day. I wish at the time; I took better care of my games tho. This console game me so many good memories and great games to experience.
I had one, but gor some reason, the battery kept on expanding during the pandemic and didn’t notice it until this year. had to throw them out, and now, I have yet to find a new battery for it
I remember back in 2005 when I was 10, I lusted after one of these so hard. I found a Toys R Us catalog that had a picture of the system, so I cut that picture out and carried it with me for months pretending to play on it. I finally got one that Christmas and loved it to death. The analog stick finally gave out around 2010. I still have it, but can’t play anything on it. I should pick up another one…
Bought a DS back then, but not gonna lie, I was jealous of every single PSP player then. That tech was just so mind blowing then, but I couldn’t miss out on portable SM64 and Ocarina and such.
Wipeout, vice city stories, star wars battlefront, need for speed carbon… so many memories. not to mention the metric shit ton of emulated games I played on it
Mine still runs and battery life is superb.
I dig it out for long journeys, flying to Poland to visit my in-laws for Christmas on Friday.
Some valkyria chronicles 2 will be played in transit.
Still one of the most diverse and unique library of games. With tons of great jrpgs as well.
Beautiful little console, I miss mine!
It is old enough for me to finally take it into the club
Now I will stop using it
I remember playing gta on that one. Absolute fun spawning a tank when the cops annoyed you
:”)
I still use mine
Damn.. I’m getting old.

Still the best hand held of its time.

Psp was soo good i had midnight club dub edition and gta. I wish Sony would make another handheld
Who else remembers hacking this thing using a jank copy of Lumines and getting it to emulate everything under the sun?
I miss Patapon T_T

The PSP was great, if you had Lumines: Puzzle Fusion, it was even greater.
I always wanted one as kid but all I could afford was watching others in class play 🙁

I just finished final fantasy crisis core on it
I remember how I came to a friend’s birthday and saw him playing Chains of Olympus on it. It just blew me away.
The greatest Portable Console ever made.
It was YEARS ahead of it’s time.
