I assume the joke here is that he fell asleep and started dreaming all sorts of weird shit coming from the podcast. That never happens to me. I’ll be listening to a podcast, nod off without realizing it, and then *BOOM* it’s like I time-skipped to a later part and I have no idea what’s going on. I have to back-track to the last thing I remember hearing.
Hello, **I n t u i t i o n ~ M a n** here at your service
Please enjoy an adhoc sleepytime podcast, or even fall asleep infront of the TV occasionally. As social beings, we can occasionally get deep routed restbite from the sense of belonging and safety falling asleep to others provides.
**However**, please do not make this a habit. As we’re continually bombarded with distractions and ‘safety nets’ of content. We’re less and less challenged to keep our own company. Being able to be at rest without distraction and actually confront existence is *essential* for long term mental wellbeing. While I won’t challenge any tiktok habits in the day or absolute reliance one music/mobile for the smallest amount of commuting or waiting you might need.
I do need to put my foot down and ask you humans to allow night time to be a sanctity of mind time. The longer you stave off confronting existence, the harder it is to absolve.
If you’re reading this now, consider being in a waiting room or long commute on public transport or even a flight. Imagine you didn’t bring any music, a phone or a book, how anxious are you? If you’re very anxious, I won’t judge, but you must ask yourself, are you happy that your baseline relationship with existence is “anxiety without distractions”?
One of the notable causes of insomnia is actually due to people being worried about all the terrible health effects of sleeplessness, that we’re constantly told about.
Like there are sleep experts out there saying, “We found that people reported being kept awake by the spectre of terrifyingly bad heath effects from not sleeping enough, effects that were related to them by sleep experts.
Wow, people should stop doing that, because they’re going to die tired and demented if they don’t sleep perfectly!”
Stuff You Should Know is great for this. They almost never have loud moments and their voices are calm and relaxed all the time. It’s especially good if you slow it down to 0.9x or 0.8x speed.
Sciency podcast, with your presenter, Strong Bad.
Every time I try to fall asleep to Kurzgesagt videos
So that’s why my pee-pee is so small.
When did Strong Bad get into the sciency podcast game?
This has [Trogdor](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90X5NJleYJQ&ab_channel=homestarrunnerdotcom) vibes.

The last one is what got me the most
The one that kills me is when the podcast ends with an annoying outro and ad reads that are twice as loud as the podcast itself.
**WAKE UP THE PODCAST IS OVER**
Nice very funny man 😅
I totally thought the joke was going to be the add comes on super loud
And that why I fall asleep to a British man committing war crimes and drinking tea
This dingus apparently does not know about Joe Pera’s [Drifting Off](https://youtu.be/FxIvVunSZZk?si=pnlPns87KChLIDUr) podcast.
Great now I can’t get the sciencey podcast tune out of my head
Lol this is hilarious, got more???

That’s why I listen to nerdy NBA podcasts when fall asleep, there are as disconnected from real life problems as possible
Big strong bad vibes.
WAKE THE FUCK UP! YOU ARE GOING TO DIE!
ah man thanks for the laugh.
“Wake the fuck up, you’re going to die!” Is probably something I’m going to sing to my DnD group the next time I ambush them in their sleep lol
This is hilarious, I love the “you’re gonna die!” 😂
Well done OP, I loved it! Hahaha
I’ve been browsing Reddit for a shameful four hours today and this is the best thing I have seen all day
Trogdor the podcastinator
Bidet
Excellent
This one great 🤣
I really needed this wake-up call, i’m going to sleep now.
Need to fall asleep? Hit the drums, skip 5 minutes in, and [listen to the sweet dulcet tones theorizing where the Emperor is today.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KyPjE1Sn-Ts&t=2s)
Nah it’s worse when YouTube hits you with an ad that’s just a 20 minute documentary
Is that why my ass is always itchy?
Oh man that is too good. Its like watching strong bad emails again for the first time.

TIL why I have itchy arsehole
If you make more of these, it should be for the sciency podcast.
No wonder my asshole is itchy.
Hey Strongbad.
How do you host the Sciencey Podcast with boxing gloves on your hands?
Teen Girl Squad!
Hilarious, this shit should be on Netflix
I want that theme song please
