That’s awesome and Hans Grueber gets what he deserves. Silly question, but does it light up at all or does the helicopter move around? Dare I ask if it plays a line from a movie when you move it to the next day? I thought it was an Advent calendar at first, which made it even more ridiculous to me. Do you have anything similar you break out for other holidays?

HAHAH, my parents got the same thing for my great grandad as a birthday gift!
There’s too many great scenes in this film (& OP truly awesome advent calendar) but I do contest 1) it is 100% a Christmas movie 2) out of all the great scenes in the film, when they open the vault and Alan Rickman steps forward in front of the light and the music hits it is just truly glorious. Good times and yes even though I’m not huge fan of Xmas it truly is the season.

So these retail really cheap on Amazon, but I’ll warn you, they are as fragile as a crisp leaf under a boot. A lot of them won’t even survive the assembly process and many reviews said they broke during delivery.
They are a lot smaller than the product images make out too. It’s only about as tall as a sheet of A4 paper. Shame, because it’s a great idea. Someone should make a durable, high quality version. They’d make a killing.
