confession: At the time I went to a Catholic primary school and the head nun put on Fern Gully for us as our Christmas ‘treat’ film in the big hall after Christmas dinner and it went down like a cup of cold sick. No-one paid attention, everyone was totally bored by it so much so that we talked over it too much and I think I remember her pulling the plug and
making us carry on with work (not unusual behaviour for her tbf). This was obvs pre phones/internet etc so just goes to show that kids were still a bunch of entitled little twats even way back when!

I love this guy so much. He’s just fantastic in every part he’s played.
This song was my very first experience with being scared and drawn in… it was my favorite part of the movie, but I still understood it was the worst part. This wasn’t the only time I was so conflicted by Tim Curry though.
