Three guys shitting all over “The Flash” VFX whilst hi-lighting that the main reason “The Flash” sucked because the studio executives at WB are greedy (and Ezra Miller)

if pretty forgiving when it comes to sfx. i tend to suspend my belief a lot, as long as its not absolutely terrible sfx, i focus on the story more.
personally i quite like the flash movie. i found it funny and entertaining. really a huge shame with what ezra did in real life. he fit his character well but i dont want to see him in new movies.
The CGI in the CW incarnation of the flash was budget limited and sometimes not polished but So much more grounded and coherent
I agree the fx could have been a whole lot better. But I honestly thought it was one of the better superhero movies in the last few years.
I decided to give the movie a go once it came to HBO, but honestly I find Ezra Miller’s performance as the flash to be obnoxious. Once I got to the point where there was 2 of him I was done lol. I didnt even get to see Keaton!
The CGI sucks, but good CGI wouldnt have saved this movie.
I watched about 80% of this video with some struggle.
There’s something pompous about these 3 guys, that makes a little bit irritating to watch
Jesus christ, some of those CG actors looked like they came out of a PS2 cutscene.
This actually could have been a really good movie with some writing tweaks and better CGI. I was shocked it was as good as it was.
I suspect these Carosel/Kalidescope shots with the hundreds of characters were setup, composited and filmed in Unreal Engine. Virtual Production sorta thing, but being completely pushed beyond its limits.
I’m always really torn when it comes to Corridor Crew content.
On the one hand, they seem fairly knowledgeable on the subjects they present themselves as experts on, and thus it’s always a pretty interesting discussion.
On the other hand, they make VFX content themselves. And its almost all . . . well, bad. Not horrendously bad, but definitely the exact level of bad they’re always making fun of. Doctor, heal thyself.
I caught the Flash on Max last week (had no idea it was there and got caught by surprise).
First, it’s not that bad. It’s not high art, but as mindless superhero entertainment, it’s fine. I didn’t struggle to stay awake during it like Quantumania, which is a truly unfortunate festival of tedium.
That said. I honestly thought the CGI in Flash was a stylistic choice. I kept thinking of Ego’s dioramas in GotG2. If it weren’t for the internet discussing it, I would’ve thought it was intentional. I don’t know. The CGI is a whole thing, but it’s *consistently* a whole thing. I almost think if it had been all photo-realistic, it would have somehow worked even less. Just putting a giant mess on the screen isn’t that interesting. The stylistic difference was at least interesting.
It was fine. Liked Keaton quite a bit.
These uppity, holier than thou, clueless super cunt clowns are still around?
CorridorDigital still critiquing VFX in movies while shilling their soulless AI tools like they give a shit is laughable.
So the movie was awful because of the greedy execs at Warner Bros? How does that explain the epic, historic success of Barbie, released under those very same execs?
I mean it was really bad story, characters and the VFX were terrible.
