This was one of, if not the best film this year. Please do yourself a favor and watch Animal. It’s an extremely layered psychological analysis of the side of the male psyche that society suppresses. Perhaps for good reason.

Nah it’s a trash movie
The movie was dog shit.
The main character is morally a jackass. There is no redemption arc for him. It glorifies man’s primal nature in a very bad way (unlike Arjun Reddy / Kabir Singh where they show how giving into primal nature can become one’s undoing)
The action was lame. It was just a bunch of blood splashing everywhere but the violence lacked any impact. If a 12 year old directed an fight scene, this is what it would look like.
Story was all over the place. The first hour was decent but it goes to shit after that. Terrible screenplay. Childish dialogue.
But most importantly, the movie tries so hard to be edgy it just ends being severely cringe. It’s pompous and has nothing to say.
