This scene from ‘Power Rangers’ came out a year before ‘Phantom Menace’, but it feels more true to the original trilogy than most projects that came after it.

obv not talking about Andor, Rogue One, but more specifically the prequel and sequel trilogy
Jury is still out on the other shows atm, but book of boba fett felt more like power rangers than star wars imo
Woah this was excellent! Didn’t know red ranger had such a deep backstory.
Wtf this is awesome. Low key wanna hear the red ranger say “to see with eyes unclouded by hate” his soft anger reminds me of ashitaka in Mononoke.
This was quite entertaining. Which Power Rangers movie is this?
I almost forgot how awful Power Rangers is. This is a very powerful reminder.
Alternate title: This scene is a cheap decades-late ripoff of the OT’s Cantina and Jabba’s Palace sequences, set in a barely redressed western saloon on some backlot.
I’m sorry but that was just a no effort cliché western bar scene with costumes.
I always love the random things people change to make settings “sci-fi” when for the most part all these aliens just act like normal humans. Like for example the cards. They’re playing a card game exactly like poker where you have a hand, a wager, you fold or raise, it’s literally just normal poker … but then the cards are round because space and instead of a flush or a pair it’s a “zenta” or “zama” or “zanamatar” (all space words apparently start with ‘Z’). It’s so cheesy I love it.
Power Rangers in space was the shit! Omg dude. So good. They even teamed up with the Ninja Turtles!
red ranger sounds like pascal
There was more effort put into that choreography than anything in the Star Wars sequel trilogy.
Hollywood has truly gone down the drain, and it’s all because of endless egocentricity.
People get hired not for their skill or intellect or passion but purely based on social connections, and the end result is predictably terrible.
Weren’t the “Mighty morphin Powerrangers” just a mix of two japanese series and some newly filmed content?
Did he find his sister?
Lets rocket! Tbh in space was one of the best seasons.
I’m going to assume this scene was replaced with the one where all the Ranger Villains are in Space as Red crashes the party and flies off on his board.
Man, the crazy voice coming out of a thing whose mouth doesn’t even move is so weird
