>Tony Award winner Ben Platt and Molly Gordon star in the original comedy THEATER CAMP as Amos and Rebecca-Diane – lifelong best friends and drama instructors at a rundown camp in upstate New York. When clueless tech-bro Troy (Jimmy Tatro) arrives to run the property (into the ground), Amos, Rebecca-Diane and production manager Glenn (Noah Galvin) band together with the staff and students, staging a masterpiece to keep their beloved summer camp afloat.
>Cast: Noah Galvin, Molly Gordon, Ben Platt, Jimmy Tatro, Patti Harrison, Nathan Lee Graham, Ayo Edebiri, Owen Thiele, Alan Kim, Alexander Bello, Bailee Bonick, Kyndra Sanchez, Donovan Colan, Vivienne Sachs, Quinn Titcomb, Caroline Aaron, Amy Sedaris
This had me laughing pretty hard. This looks like the kind of movie that simultaneously makes fun of theater camp but is also a movie that theater camp kinds would find hilarious. That’s the best kind of satirical comedy. Looking forward to it.
I saw this at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival. It was fun.
It’s nothing too special but it’s an fun film about the theatre play with good performances between the cast members, some clever humor, and the mockumentary style fits perfectly.
It’s so good, lots of fun. The play they perform at the end is hilarious and still the best scene I’ve seen this year so far. It was my second favorite movie I saw at Sundance 2023.
This is giving me strong [Camp (2003)](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=XAvAlsX57sg) vibes, which I loved in spite of me being neither a theater kid nor much of a musical fan.

Looks funny! Excited Searchlight is putting this in theaters and not straight to Hulu.
As a former theatre kid, this is too relatable. Can’t wait to see it in theaters!
This actually looks really funny and I’m happy to see Ben Platt in a role appropriate to his age.
This was the largest acquisition coming out of Sundance this year. Searchlight is really hoping it’s a hit, kinda needs to be.
It’s not fun, it’s art. I’m on board

Crap, guess I misread. The advertisement said thespians.
I’m here for it.
This looks really fun.
I’m excited for the mini Booksmart reunion with Molly Gordon and Noah Galvin. This plus her popping up in The Bear, Molly Gordon fans are eating good.

Saw this at Sundance this year and it’s hilarious. One of my favorites from the festival.
Stop trying to make ben Platt happen.
His father is forcing his son on us
Wow this actually looks funny, and charming. What the hell.

FELT.

Anyone know where this takes place or where it was shot?

Reminds me of the movie “Camp” but that’s a great thing.
I am ready for the Ayo Edebiri explosion. This and Bottoms and season 2 of The Bear this summer let’s goooooooo..
Godamnit I’m in.
Been in / around theatre for…wow…25 years now.
This looks dead on accurate in the best way.
Saw this at SXSW and it was probably my favorite movie of the festival. Really hoping this finds an audience, it’s hilarious and so charming.
“A GoGo box in Hell’s Kitchen.”
That precisely describes an unusually high percentage of my friends.
This looks fun as hell. I’m in!
But will Ben Platt give as lousy a performance as the Dear Evan Hansen movie??
Looks like a spiritual successor to Wet Hot American Summer, which is a very good thing!
