I like the Wombats, but… this is not a good rendition of that song. At all.
Loved this cover. There are so many hidden gems from this genre in the mid to late eighties.
I was a teenager then and loved it all. Glad ti see the resurgence.
It’s so interesting to me how social media every now and then propels older classics back into the light. It’s a good thing, I think, like mixing the water of a still lake.
