My heart skipped a beat
Bit big for a cool ant tower.
Elma, WA. Satsop?
Knees weak, arms spaghetti.
Hyperbolic cooling tower. Typically the ladder changes direction from facing toward the concrete to facing out around 2/3 the way up.
This one looks like it’s missing its spray nozzles/piping and diffusers.
Cooling tower, no coolant involved.
We’ll march day and night by the big cooling tower. They have the plant, but we have the power.
I have seen cooler towers before.
Idk what it is about this picture I just feel like I’m sliding off
Worst seats ever for a baseball game.
This makes my feet tingle
Where is the coolant at?
First of all, I would not dare to climb up there, ever. From the demolition videos the walls look so thin I would not believe it to not crumble under my feet.
Second, how the hell do you get up there?
Photographs like this make me feel sharp, tingling pain as though I just fell on asphalt/concrete.
Just go down there and pop a balloon. Amazing sound effect!
Hartsville?
Watch out for Wolverine and a terrible version of Deadpool!
Suislide
this pic simulates my fear of heights. Literally makes my stomach turn.
Is that grass below? I always assumed their was a giant pool of water.

There used to be some of these at a power station near us. I had to go to the site and walked right next to the base of one of these. From a distance they look nice and quiet but they aren’t. The amount of water that condenses and runs down them is impressive and its like a very large waterfall at the bottom.
Fuck every bit of this. How’d you get me up there and HOW ARE YOU GETTING ME DOWN? Nope. Just send xanax and a pillow cause I’m never leaving now.
I don’t know what I expected was inside those towers, but it wasn’t this.
These comments make me think I’m now too old for the internet because I have no idea what most of you are referring to.
The ol takinga picture of taking a picture
Wrap that camera strap around your hand at least twice. That’s what bugs me the most about this shot.
You should see them when active! Snails live in the walls and the algae growth on the walking surfaces is 10” thick!
