Mario in this trailer actually sounded a lot better, still not the best performance especially if compared to luigi, but it was passable

Not gonna lie, this is probably going to be the best animated videogame movie we’ve got up until now. Looks pretty damn good. I don’t think the voices are going to be an issue.
I…actually think I look forward to this movie now? And Peach actually looks super cute in this.
Does everything Mario says sound….unenthusiastic? I’m not trying to get on the Chris Pratt hate train, it just doesn’t “feel” like Mario’s voice.
Well that was fun. Animation looks great. Voice acting matches whats on screen. I suspect my kids are going to love it. Secretly, so will I.
Does the trailer for every single movie they release now have to have the same “epic” soundtrack?
It looks like a great movie. My older son is 7 and getting him a mini NES classic for Xmas, so he’ll probably enjoy this more than me.
The voices are great, even Mario for all the doubt. But Charlie Day obviously is going to be the stand out.
Kinda wish Chris and Charlie had did Italian accents. It looks neat tho.

I like that they’re really leaning into the Mario universe with Donky Kong and Mariokart being used and I like most of the voice except for Mario. Casting Chris Pratt as Mario was a huge mistake and will drag the movie down for a LOT if people. He just sounds wrong.
Can we appreciate how Jack Black as Bowser was the best possible choice?

i think the music is *way* too epic for super mario. mario has always been a playful series for me. this is WAYYYYY too friggin epic.
