What the hell is Dragon Ball Z?
Went back and watched the original DB recently . . . Bulma is technically sexually battered in like everyone of the first 10 episodes so I kinda get where some of the censorship comes from. Yes it’s from the 80s, yes it came from a different culture, but oy.
You can tell DBZ Kai just stole their subtitles from an older version because the subtitles replace all the cursing with more mild versions and still call Mr Satan “Hercule”.
I remember during the Sayian Saga when Vegeta and Napa arrived, Napa blows up some city and one of the characters comment how lucky it was that it was a Sunday and the whole town was empty.
I saw uncensored dragonball z once and vegeta flipped someone off and I was so happy
