The Straight Line Mission Across Wales Day 4 (after GPS battery failure)

  • Really anticlimactic because of the whole going home thing. It really bothers me how unprepared he is lol. Also, I miss Welsh Greg, his brother was very introverted it seems which is fine, but less entertaining.

  • These videos are fun but I lost a lot of respect for this guy after he acted like a victim when a farmer kicked him off his land at the start of the pandemic. Could the farmer have handled it differently than saying they could stay, then changing his mind and calling the cops? Ya definitley. But at the same time he has two young guys in military gear hiding on his land during what was a very stressful time for most people. I dont know if I would have confronted them directly myself. They were nice and all but he had no way of determining if they were telling the truth or not. The whole “we forgive you Mr Farmer” bit had my eyes rolling through the back of my head.

Haven’t watched him since so if he has addressed this then that’s good news and I hope his next adventures go better.

  • Cue the whiners on Reddit, tell us all about how Tom hurt your feelings and the feelings of the land he walked through! Great series, loved it all, made me laugh out loud. Just a great time adventuring in the outdoors.

  • Guys a legend, I don’t understand why farmers are so pissed off with people on their land. It’s not as if people are on it every day compromising their livelihood. Its a couple of dudes, who are polite and considerate.

Makes me wince when they go through hedges and brambles like they do. They are a nightmare, full of spikes and easily lacerate you.

  • Were the batteries faulty? He didn’t mentioned any problems with the GPS in this last episode.

I admire their will and courage to climb those trees and do all those acrobatics. I would’ve walked around the pit.
