I saw Ad Astra in theaters and liked the film although I see why the film divided people.
Does Apoca-Space Now (or Heart of Spaceness) featuring a car chase and shootout on the moon and killer space monkeys really need a scientific explanation?
Went to see this with my girlfriend at the time. About 30 minutes in she realised the car was parked in a car park that was about to close so had to run out of the screen to move it. When she finally got back I quietly whispered to her âso he is on the moon now and just met this ladyâ. She then goes âno heâs on Jupiterâ. I said âno no itâs the moonâ. Confused I said âno itâs definitely the moonâ and then she tells me that no it is Jupiter because she read the wiki plot on the way over to make sure she didnât miss anything and I was like well obviously to read too far ahead!! She goes âOk, well spoiler alert they donât stay here longâŚâ.
Also canât recall if it was Jupiter or not
I found this film annoyingly pretentious, given its lackluster script
