The re-launch of WoW classic was a really special time for me.

  • I finally broke the habit. I realized I was chasing nostalgia and it was always just around the corner with the next release. It was always going to get better. It was always going to finally again make me feel like it did in 2005. It never really did.

And now that they sold out to esports and base the game design around that, I walked away.

  • It was extra special for me and my friends since we never played Vanilla.

Probably one of the most fun adventures in recent memory. So many people working together, being social, following rules for the most part

I’m glad it ended though. Once I tried FF14 I felt stupid for playing WoW for so long

  • The days of not wanting to log so you didn’t have to wait 4 hours the next day to get on lol. After BGs released it definitely lost its charm for me though. Worst part was I had to cancel my sub and when I renewed all of my characters were gone from my account. Over 700 hours of playtime and 8 maxed characters just gone forever on all of the servers I was on.
