Yeah. Literally nothing in that trailer was exciting. Run-of-the-mill boy or girl with superpowers, the overly supportive parent, meet boy fall in love, on the run or in hiding, evil organization or person(s)…
Why didn’t they just renew Paper Girls? Seriously a 2nd season would had brought in viewers?
Anyways, is this what streaming has become? To get something greenlight by the execs and for viewers to look, it has to have some type of hollywood star in your cast? Or a famous producer or director?
The book this is adapted from was excellent, I’ve been excited for this show since they announced it. Hopeful they stay true at least to the spirit of the book, since wanting an exact story adaptation is probably a bit too much. Anyway, i cant wait to watch it.
I gave the book my best effort. I just couldn’t get into it.
