*EDIT:*
The poster of the video on Youtube is pulling a bait & switch. I should’ve re-uploaded it myself to prevent this but I didn’t. Original channel name was “Михаил Бурсин” and description was blank. Now edited to an OpenSea link selling it as NFT. Matt Furie sells the pepes as NFT too, but this auction’s money will go to the Russian dude who doesn’t own any of this content.
If you want to help get his account banned, [here](https://old.reddit.com/r/videos/comments/s4htdb/the_original_author_of_pepe_the_frog_matt_furie/hssl3wx/) is a standard email you can send to OpenSea’s support. Thanks.
I dislike NFTs. But what I dislike even more is fraudulent NFTs that are wiring money away from the original author. (Matt Furie gets a cut every time *his* NFTs get sold)
FeelsGoodMan
Absolutely fucking cool.
That felt really pleasant to watch (sound on) especially first thing in the morning.
Love the ebb and flow. Great song choice, each short made me excited for the next.
Very MTV circa late 80’s
This video goes straight into my acid playlist
Parts of it felt like ~~Ralph Bakshi’s~~ Heavy Metal
edit: I guess Mr. Bakshi had nothing to do with Heavy Metal, my bad.
Didn’t this guy try killing this frog and the internet said lol no.
I thought he renounced Pepe
The best part about Reddit this week at least was this video. I liked the part with the guy break dancing in the organ. Just wow thank you for sharing.
Love drawing and animating. What kind of software would I use for animating art like this? Is it frame by frame? It seems so crazy how smooth cartoon animation can get. I have procreate on the ipad pro and I use sketchbook pro on the PC but I have mainly done still images. not too much animating. (except pixel art). I recently watched the Feels Good Man documentary about Matt Furie too. Was a great watch, i highly recommend.
edited to include what i currently use
Wow I was not prepared for how good that was.
I’m saving this for when I get high
The amount of screenshots you could get from this video will disstabilize the rare Pepe market
I love synths soooo much.
This is incredible, but is there any proof that these animations are created by Furie himself? I’m trying to look up info, but there’s zero indication that he’s involved outside the video description.
Traditional animation > Pixar/New era Disney CG
I love synthwave
I watched a great documentary about him once. I think maybe it was a Storyville? Seems like a really cool dude.
I’m pretty sure all the clips in this video were just stolen from Matt Furie’s [Twitter account](https://twitter.com/Matt_Furie?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor), the only thing added was the music, and even that’s not original. This is freebooting at it’s finest.
I enjoyed this more than expected. He’s very talented, it’s a bit sad what his art has become associated with

So the person who posted the video owns neither the animation nor the music, but made an NFT of the double copyright violation and is charging for it?
Does anyone know where the original animation is?
I highly recommend the documentary about Matt Furie and Pepe the Frog call [Feels Good Man.](https://www.feelsgoodmanfilm.com/) Also, if you have young kids, the book by Matt Furie [The Night Riders](https://www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/11817105-the-night-riders) is outstanding.
What sort of software does one use to create animations like this?
I’ve been doing a lot of drawing in procreate, and have come a long ways and would love to learn to turn my drawings into animations but I don’t know where to start.
I didn’t think I was on acid until I watched this, now I’m questioning if I am…?
Very organic and life like feeling animation
Major Rick and Morty vibes
I’m glad, I was really pissed when it got subverted into some stupid association with racist-ass shit.
If anyone hasn’t seen it I highly recommend the documentary Feels Good Man, which is all about the history of Pepe and the artist behind it. Aside from being a propulsive, intelligent, funny doc it also looks great with awesome animations, and the artist himself is a very interesting and nice guy.
