Worst live band I’ve ever seen.
I saw them jn the mid-90s and they started playing The Sweater Song and the crowd went crazy. They abruptly stopped and said “fuck Weezer.” Seemed petty and like a lost opportunity cuz the crowd was into it.
My favorite band growing up in the late 90’s early 2000’s
Lead singer recently got his PhD in molecular biology
Inspiration for the song “keep them separated” came from Dexter Holland’s experience in a laboratory cooling Erlenmeyer flasks full of hot liquids.
Oh noooo he have dreads…retroactive cultural appropriation cancelation campaign !!!
Depending upon when that was in 1994 they might not have been famous yet.
I saw them that year when I went to see the Meatmen. Pennywise played 2nd and the Offspring played 1st. I fucked up my ankle during their set and it’s still not right to this day.
The 90s were just another level of cool
I really hope they do a 30th anniversary release of this album:
