The music video for “Break on Through” by The Doors still looks as cool as the day it was filmed in 1967. All four were so young but made it look so effortless.

For context, at the time of this music video:
– Robby Krieger, the guitarist, was 20/21.
– John Densmore, the drummer, was 22.
– Jim Morrison, lead singer, was 23.
– Ray Manzarek, the oldest member, was 28.
Why wouldn’t it look as cool as the day it was filmed? Does coolness wear off if film is left laying around?
I think it *was* pretty effortless. Manzarek is “playing” a Rhodes here but we hear an organ.
Evidently they were just being an air band for the music video.
That song was actually released before Light My Fire, but it didn’t do that well, which always surprised me. I think it’s a great tune…
I am the Lizard king I can do anything
Val Kilmer was good looking.
Where did they play music videos back then?
