Scream Factory needs to release this. They’ve done the other two Fred Dekker films.
For years people begged for a DVD release and the ownership wasn’t clear, then Lionsgate was able to license it and they released a reasonably-packed DVD and then a Blu-ray a year or so later. I actually slept on the Blu at first because I’d just bought the DVD and apparently I’m the luckiest Monster Squad Blu-ray owner in the world because the early copies are prone to disc rot (it’s a real thing, look it up) and as of like 3 days ago my copy is still playing flawlessly, and I watched every bit of that disc over the weekend, the extras and everything.
Lionsgate’s license expired and Olive licensed it and none of the extras were carried over. That was over 10 years ago so hopefully they’ve lost the rights. And somehow all these years later Paramount owns the film so hopefully they’ll either release it themselves or license it to Shout Factory.

“Scary German guy is bitchin’!”
I met Duncan Regher (Dracula) at a fan convention once and it was a thrill. He remains the only person I ever stood in line to get a photo with.
