Something about all the Marvel stuff after Endgame just makes me not really care. Haven’t wanted to see a Marvel movie since then.
It’s kind of like the MMO that you once loved is like 10 expansions deep and you just don’t recognize the fucking mess it’s become, and you just don’t care.
The movie is dumb but entertaining. Y’all over here seriously pretending most Marvel movies aren’t dull as dishwasher? You turning on Dr. strange, Iron Man 2, Thor the Dark World? Gimme a break.
The Marvels have zero direction in this movie. The story and plot made no sense and didn’t connect at all. It’s just fragments trying to piece together.
The fight scenes were weak and dull. Using cgi to enhance the combat failed.
Marvel almost never builds up antagonists, they could do it in a past movie to set up future interesting antagonists, but no, for some reason the so highly praised continuity / Feige vision doesnt do it apart from the big ones Thanos and the Conquerer dude.
Would also be better if the heroes didnt always win and kill the enemy, but had to struggle or fight a stalemate. But then you’d not have a standard bullshit Hollywood happy end.
Watching The Marvels was a major inconvenience
Oof, I’m not sure I would pirate this – and people pay to see it?

But, but…toxic fandom! Man-children! Haters!

“Get Hala back, girl” – lol, paging Gwen Stefani.
I liked the movie, but it felt like there was a good 30-40 minutes cut from the middle of the plot, the pacing is terrible.
The movie is definitely a bit of a mess, but it’s mostly entertaining, and the majority of the performances were solid to good.
Certainly better than Ant Man 3, though I know that’s not saying much.
I wonder who they will blame for failing this time?
how did I know before even seeing the thumbnail and video that it would be this punchable face looking ass dumbass
Biggest problem is the lack of good antagonists.
Marvel almost never builds up antagonists, they could do it in a past movie to set up future interesting antagonists, but no, for some reason the so highly praised continuity / Feige vision doesnt do it apart from the big ones Thanos and the Conquerer dude.

It just stinks. It happens.
