Drummer Micky Waller is the other guy, I believe.
The Jeff Beck Group, from 1968. Left to right, Rod Stewart, bassist Ronnie Wood, drummer Micky Waller and guitarist Jeff Beck.
Interestingly, Ronnie played bass in this group, rather than guitar. Micky replaced Aynsley Dunbar, and was himself replaced by drummer Tony Newman in 1969.
“Truth” is how rock and roll is done!
I never heard of him until he played with Johnny Depp.
Beck always seemed to look furious back then.
Once upon a time Rod Stewart was an honest-to-god rock star. He smelled the truckloads of money that massive mainstream popularity would bring him, and took it. And who could blame him? Dude’s sold like a quarter of a billion records. But there was a time, before he started shitting out songs about being sexy and girls named Maggie, that he was viewed in the same category as Robert Plant.
Also, Beck and Stewart both trying to look serious and sexy in this picture, and Ronnie Wood manages to way out-cool them both with that sly little smile
Rod Stewart was always a tool.
That middle school kid certainly peaked early.
Ron Wood played bass, Let Me Love You is one hell of a groove.
