I know a lot of people use this incident as an example of “science going to far” and “man playing god”.
Obviously, these deaths were tragic, and my heart goes out to the families of those lost.
I have a lot of respect for Dr. Ian Malcolm.
He’s a great mathematician and his work on Chaos Theory will be talked about for decades to come, but I think he’s too emotionally connected to this incident to be objective.
Many, many scientific discoveries have lead to deaths, but ultimately helped humanity. We don’t just halt scientific discovery because it gets a bit dangerous.
This advancement could change medical science and who knows what else. It’s really important and I hope this tragic incident doesn’t cause people to abandon this amazing achievement entirely.
What folly

I still wanna know how Trex just stepped across the wall and then when the car gets pushed over in the exact same spot it’s like a 100 foot drop.
