The Insane Biology of: The Orca

  • What I find mind-blowing about Orcas is that we have literally 0 confirmed human deaths from orcas in the wild. Meanwhile they’re killing great whites and other creatures with no real regard for their lives. Are we just that bony, or do they realize we share something in common? Do they have some way to realize we are also a complex sentient species, and do they have some kind of morality around this?

    I don’t really know, but it’s a a really wild consideration that makes you think.
